When Carly Blane and Ryan Citrino first met while performing as actor-musicians on a cruise ship, they bonded over their shared joy of creating unique experiences for audiences. Even though the Indiana and New Jersey natives (respectively) had just met, they quickly discovered that performing together felt natural. Their voices instinctively blended into tight harmonies and their music resonated with audiences. Neither one ready to tempt fate that easily, so Brighthold was formed.

With a mix of traditional instruments (acoustic guitar and mandolin), they entertain audiences with their high energy performances while still providing heartfelt moments through their honest songwriting.  Drawing inspiration from Gillian Welch, Tom Petty, and Linda Ronstadt, their musicianship flows across genres.

Currently, you can find them performing internationally with Carnival Cruise Line onboard their fleet of ships. When not at sea, you’ll probably see them eating burgers in East Nashville.
